Randburg man (39) goes missing after visiting shops

A father and husband was last seen more than 30 hours ago and police call on citizens to assist in finding him.

Police have called on anyone who might have information that could help find Jacques Herman Arrie Geurtse.

The 39-year-old husband and father visited the shops in Linden, Gauteng, yesterday at around 14:00 and never returned home.

A red alert for missing people has been issued by local police and the Vulnerable Citizens Support Initiative (VCSI).

The latter states that Geurtse is 1.9m tall, weighs approximately 110kg and has brown/green eyes and brown hair.

Geurtse was wearing a black jacket, black short pants and black flip-flop sandals when he was last seen.
