Social media is abuzz with winter wonderland photos and videos this week, thanks to snowfall being noted in several areas.

It has been years since ice crystals have been felt in many of these parts and one can forgive the frenzy of excitement that gripped South Africa, giving people literal and figurative ‘chills’.
