Eskom has announced that stage 3 load-shedding will continue until 05:00 tomorrow.

Rolling power cuts will then be reduced to stage 2 between 05:00-16:00.

Power utility spokesperson Daphne Mokwena says stage 3 load-shedding will then again come into effect between 16:00 and 05:00.

This pattern will be repeated daily from tomorrow.

“Breakdowns are currently at 15 984MW of generation capacity and six generation units are anticipated to return to service tomorrow,” she explains.
