Load-shedding on the cards until Sunday

Eskom says power cuts are needed to replenish pump storage dams.

Load-shedding in various stages will be implemented until Sunday morning, when power cuts will be suspended between 05:00 and 16:00.

Here is your load-shedding outlook until Monday morning:

  • Currently until 05:00 tomorrow: Stage 2
  • 05:00 tomorrow until 05:00 on Sunday: Stage 1
  • Sunday 05:00 – 16:00: No load-shedding
  • Sunday 16:00 – Monday 05:00: Stage 1

The power utility says it will send an update as soon as significant changes occur. A load-shedding outlook for next week will be published on Sunday.
