7 men found dead under a bridge in Durban

Investigations are underway after the bodies, with gunshot wounds, were found near the M25 off-ramp.

Charges of murder are being investigated after seven bodies were found underneath a bridge near the M25 off-ramp in Durban yesterday.

According to KZN police spokesperson Brigadier Jay Naicker, police received a report of multiple bodies that were found underneath a railway bridge.

On arrival at the scene, police found the bodies of the men.

“It is alleged that the victims, believed to be in their 30s, were shot and killed by unknown suspects.

“The circumstances surrounding the incident are being investigated. The docket has been transferred to the Provincial Organised Crime [Unit] for investigation,” concludes Naicker.
