SA musician shares special moment with Whoopi Goldberg

The Kiffness, a South African parody musician, recently met one of Hollywood's greatest at a show in New York.

South African musician David Scott, better known as The Kiffness, recently shared a special moment after a show in New York City, USA.

Scott posted a photo with American actress and comedian Whoopi Goldberg, who attended his show.

In his social media post, Scott said it was a very special moment as he met one of his childhood favourites.

“Thank you Whoopi for coming backstage after the show and having a chat. It’s a memory I’ll cherish forever.”

South Africans widely reacted to his post on Facebook, garnering almost 60 000 likes.

Even though the post was met with some criticism, Scott responded that he had a positive interaction with her.

“I don’t know much about her views, but from what I could tell she was a very humble, down to earth, lovely lady and it was a real honour for me to meet a childhood hero. People are all different, we have different views and that’s ok. We can agree to disagree on things.”
