Stage 3 power cuts here to stay – Eskom

The power utility says the blackouts are needed to replenish emergency reserves.

Eskom has just announced that stage 3 will stay in effect until tomorrow at 05:00 and that stages 1 and 3 will be alternated later in the week.

Here is your load-shedding outlook for the week:

  • Stage 3: Until Monday 05:00.
  • Stage 2: From 05:00 to 16:00 tomorrow.
  • Stage 3: From 16:00 on Monday to 05:00 on Tuesday
  • Stage 1: From 05:00 to 16:00 on Tuesday.
  • Stage 3: From 16:00 on Tuesday until 05:00 on Wednesday.
  • Stage 1: From 05:00 to 16:00 on Wednesday.
  • Stage 3: From 16:00 until midnight on Wednesday.
