11 injured in crash near Empangeni

Occupants of a bakkie travelling in KZN were injured after the vehicle crashed into a ditch.

Eleven people sustained injuries after the bakkie in which they were travelling lost control and crashed into a ditch near Empangeni on Sunday evening.

KwaZulu Private Ambulance Service responded to the scene at D130 Luwamba, where they assessed the occupants of the vehicle who sustained serious injuries.

The patients were treated on scene before being transported to the hospital for further treatment.
