A man and woman were shot outside a tavern on Kodisang Street in Duduza, Ekurhuleni, on Saturday.

The man (43) died as a result of the gunshot wounds to his upper body.

According to Ekurhuleni district police spokesperson Captain Neldah Sekgobela, Tsakani police officers were attending to a complaint in the area when they received a report about the shooting.

“Upon arrival, they found community members and the tavern owner surrounding the two shot victims,” says Sekgobela.
