Decapitated body of delivery driver found in Ekurhuleni
Police are urging members of the public to come forward with information relating to the murder of a man who was found next to his motorbike.
The decapitated body of a man, believed to be a motorbike delivery driver in his late 30s, was found in a street in Benoni, Ekurhuleni, over the weekend.
According to an article published by Benoni City Times, the body was found in Main Reef Road on Saturday, just 20:00.
According to Gauteng police spokesperson Colonel Dimakatso Nevhuhulwi, it is not yet clear how the man was killed. His motorbike, wallet and other belongings were found at the scene.
Members of the public are urged to come forward if they have missing loved ones, as the body remains unidentified.
Police have opened a case of murder and are appealing for information from the public that can assist the investigation.
