UK dentist dies after fatal fall from window in Ramsgate
Authorities are investigating the death of a British dentist who fell from a third-storey window in Ramsgate, KZN.
A UK dentist died after falling from a third-storey building window in Ramsgate, KZN, at around 00:30 this morning.
According to South Coast Herald, KwaZulu Private Ambulance Service responded to the emergency, a spokesperson for the service, Craig Botha, says.
“Emergency medical personnel were dispatched following reports of a person who had fallen through a window from a three-storey building. Upon arrival, paramedics discovered that the patient, a visiting dentist from the United Kingdom, had sustained critical injuries from the fall,” Botha explains.
He says advanced life support interventions were immediately initiated on the scene.
“During transport to hospital, the patient’s condition deteriorated significantly, prompting paramedics to begin resuscitation efforts. Despite the dedicated efforts of our emergency medical team and hospital staff, the patient was declared deceased at the hospital.”
KwaZulu Private Ambulance Service extended its deepest condolences to the family, friends, and colleagues of the deceased during this difficult time.
