Man (19) gunned down in Hibberdene

Police in KZN are urging any witnesses to come forward after a young man was shot dead in Hibberdene recently.

Hibberdene police in KZN are investigating a murder and an attempted murder case after a shooting incident at the Hibberdene CBD last Wednesday, South Coast Herald reports.

“A man was found with fatal gunshot wounds, while another who had sustained a gunshot wound was taken to a local hospital for treatment. The motive for the shooting will be determined by the unfolding police investigation,” said SAPS Ugu District Communications.

The deceased has been identified as 19-year-old Wandile Msimango.

Any additional witnesses to the shooting are urged to contact Hibberdene SAPS on 039 6999800.
