Kempton Park Police Station temporarily closed after injured man dies on scene
Services at Kempton Park Police Station have been diverted to a nearby railway facility following the death of an unidentified man.
Kempton Park Police Station has been temporarily closed following the death of a 28-year-old man who arrived at the facility severely injured on Friday, (September 4), reports Kempton Express.
According to police spokesperson Sergeant Dipuo Ditshego, the man arrived at the station seeking assistance, presented with severe injuries, and died shortly afterwards.
Paramedics pronounced the man dead at the scene.

Investigations underway at facility
The circumstances surrounding his injuries and death remain unknown at this stage.
Ditshego also confirmed that it was unknown how the man arrived at the police station.
She added that the man’s family had not yet been notified, and his identity could not be released.
“On-scene investigations are still underway,” Ditshego said.
The police station remains closed while investigations continue.
Police on scene could not give a timeframe for the reopening of the station.
