The four-member Christian band recently signed an exciting recording deal with an international record label, Rottweiler Records.

Rottweiler Records, based in Indiana, will be releasing the band’s album titled Cremationem Jesus Lacrimam.

The band, which has been going strong since 2010, was previously signed with Kansas-based Sanctus Gladius Records, also an international record company.

Craig Palmer who plays the drums said: “It is great for us to sign with one of the top record labels in the world and who will release our debut full length album.

“Things like this don’t just happen, but because we serve God we have managed to climb the ladder.”

Their quest to change the face of Christian and metal music has not been an easy one as opposition still exists to their band’s style of music and their message.

“Some of the responses from the public have been quite varied, with some metal fans hating the music because we are bringing God into their music, whilst some Christians feel that it is wrong or evil to worship God through heavy, angry or aggressive music,” said guitarist and vocalist Mitch Pearson.

Even if the responses have not always been positive, Palmer refuses to be discouraged.

“When you take a stand you are bound to make enemies, but we have come to that point where it does not matter if our music is received positively or negatively – it only drives and fuels us more to be bold and rebellious for Christ,” said Palmer.

Forfeit Thee Untrue is planning to launch their album and tour in South Africa to promote it and continue ministering in South Africa.

The release date for the upcoming album, Cremationem Jesus Lacrimam, has been set for April 1.
