Jeep Avenger 4xe: Urban efficiency meets off-road prowess

The Jeep Avenger 4xe debuts, blending urban efficiency with legendary off-road capability, marking a new era for the B-SUV segment.

Jeep has unveiled the Avenger 4xe, a vehicle poised to redefine the B-SUV segment by combining urban efficiency with Jeep’s renowned off-road prowess. The Avenger 4xe, boasts a unique design, advanced technology and exceptional performance.

Fabio Catone, the head of the Jeep Brand in Enlarged Europe, highlighted the Avenger’s success, noting over 160 000 customer orders since its launch. The 4xe version completes the B-SUV offering, integrating hybrid technology with Jeep’s off-road legacy, making it ideal for city commutes and rugged adventures.

Design: Rugged elegance

The Avenger 4xe’s design balances elegance and ruggedness. Enhanced exterior features include anti-scratch bumpers, specific fog lights, roof rails and all-season Mud & Snow tyres. Increased underbody protection and a rear tow hook cater to the Jeep community’s needs.

Green accents on the bumpers, wheel rims and rear hatch add a distinctive touch. The interior prioritises comfort with a black headliner, durable, waterproof seats and premium finishes, including a 4xe logo on the dashboard.

Capability: Conquers any terrain

The Avenger 4xe excels in off-road performance with improved angles (22° approach, 21° breakover, 35° departure), 210mm ground clearance and 400mm water fording. A 22.7:1 reducer on the rear axle delivers 1 900Nm, enabling steep incline climbs. The intelligent all-wheel-drive system adapts to speed, engaging 4×4 when needed.

The Selec-Terrain system offers modes like Auto, Snow, Sand & Mud, and Sport, catering to various driving conditions. Jeep’s Multilink rear suspension enhances rear axle articulation, providing smoother rides on rough terrain.

Powertrain: Hybrid efficiency and power

The Avenger 4xe features a 48V hybrid system with a 1.2-litre turbo engine (100kW) and dual 21kW electric motors, delivering 106kW combined. A six-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission allows electric driving at low speeds. The vehicle achieves a top speed of 194km/h and accelerates from 0-100km/h in 9.5 seconds, handling steep inclines with ease.

Connected services: Enhanced driving experience

The Avenger 4xe offers comprehensive Connected Services via the Jeep app, including vehicle status monitoring and maintenance alerts. The infotainment system provides Connected Navigation with real-time updates and over-the-air map updates.

An innovative ChatGPT feature enhances the Jeep experience, offering trip customisation and outdoor activity recommendations.

Trim levels: Upland, The North Face Edition and Overland

The Upland trim features green accents, 17-inch black alloy wheels, full LED headlamps and off-road skid plates. The interior includes a black headliner, silver-accented dashboard and durable seats. Advanced technologies include a 10.25-inch radio screen, digital cluster, Adaptive Cruise Control, and a 180° rear camera.

The limited-edition The North Face Edition, with 4 806 units, celebrates the collaboration between Jeep and The North Face. It features a nature-inspired design with Summit Gold accents, 17-inch black alloy wheels, and a unique interior with topographic lines and custom seats echoing The North Face’s puffer jackets. Advanced features include ambient lighting, navigation and heated seats.

The Overland trim, positioned between Upland and The North Face Edition, adds premium features like full LED projector headlights, privacy glass, velour floor mats, ambient lighting, 360° parking sensors, Level 2 assisted driving, a wireless charger and a blind spot monitor.

Deliveries are scheduled to begin in May 2025. The Avenger 4xe marks a significant step in Jeep’s evolution, combining eco-friendly technology with the brand’s iconic off-road capability.
