Crafting the perfect White Rabbit
Created by innovative bartenders looking to capture the essence of spring in a glass, this cocktail carves out a unique identity all its own.
While the Brandy Alexander has been a staple of cocktail menus since the early 20th century, the White Rabbit represents a modern, playful reimagining of this timeless classic with the addition of lemon curd and figs.
Ingredients
- 50ml amaretto liqueur
- 25ml double cream
- 15ml lemon curd
- 1 fresh fig, quartered
- 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
- A few cashew nuts
- Ice cubes
Method
- In a cocktail shaker, muddle the quartered fig gently.
- Add the amaretto, double cream, lemon curd, and vanilla extract to the shaker.
- Fill the shaker with ice cubes.
- Shake vigorously for 10-15 seconds to ensure all ingredients are well combined and chilled.
- Double-strain the mixture into a chilled coupe or martini glass to remove any fig pulp.
- Garnish with a few slices of figs and cashew nuts.
