Glazed pork chops with stir-fry veggies and rice

With bold, sweet-and-savoury flavours and a total cook time of just 20 minutes, this dish is ideal for busy weeknights.

If you’re not up for spending an hour at the stove but still want to treat your family to something delicious, these glazed pork chops are just the thing. They’re quick and easy to make, with just a few everyday ingredients and a hot pan. Recipe compliments of McCain.

Servings: 4 – 5 | Prep time: 10 minutes | Total time: 20 minutes

Ingredients

  • McCain Hawaiian Stir Fry
  • 1 kg Pork Chops
  • Olive oil
  • ¼ cup Honey
  • 4 tablespoons Balsamic Vinegar
  • 1/3 cup Chicken Stock
  • Garlic Powder
  • Fresh Herbs

Method

  1. Cook the McCain Hawaiian Stir Fry in olive oil and fresh garlic, then set aside.
  2. Season the chops.
  3. Heat oil in a large pan over medium to high heat.
  4. Fry the chops in batches, about 2 – 3 minutes per side.
  5. Remove the chops from the pan.
  6. In the same pan, add the honey, balsamic vinegar, garlic powder, and stock, and simmer for 5 minutes.
  7. Mix well and add the chops back into the pot.
  8. Simmer for 4 minutes and remove from the heat.
  9. Serve with rice and Hawaiian Stir Fry.
