Elderflower and lemon spring spritz cocktail recipe

Spring makes you want to slow down, sit outside and sip something beautiful. The elderflower spritz is a light, floral cocktail that tastes as good as it looks. With the soft sweetness of elderflower, a touch of fizz, and a scattering of delicate edible flowers, this drink is sunshine in a glass.

Ingredients

  • 25ml elderflower cordial
  • 100ml prosecco (or any sparkling wine)
  • 50ml soda water
  • Juice of half a lemon
  • Ice cubes
  • Lemon peel, to garnish

Method

  1. Fill a wine glass or coupe with ice cubes.
  2. Pour in the elderflower cordial and lemon juice.
  3. Add the prosecco and top with soda water.
  4. Give it a gentle stir.
  5. Garnish with a twist of lemon peel.
