14 new deaths, 2605 confirmed Covid-19 cases in South Africa
Gauteng is still the province with the most recorded cases.

The number of Covid-19 positive cases in South Africa has risen to 2605, the health minister Dr Zweli Mkhize announced on Thursday evening.
14 more fatalities have been recorded since Wednesday, bringing the death toll to 48.
According to Mkhize, Gauteng remains the epicenter of the outbreak with the total number of cases in the province now totaling 969. The Western Cape currently has 675 cases, followed by KwaZulu-Natal with 539 cases.

A total number of 95 060 tests have been conducted.
Globally more than 2 million cases of Covid-19 have been reported to date.
