3 police officers missing: SAPS ask public for information
The officers were traveling from the Free State to Limpopo and were last seen near the Grasmere toll gate in Gauteng.
National police commissioner, General Fannie Masemola, has reached out to the public to help find three police officers who went missing on Wednesday.
According to police Constable Gebekhulu Linda (24), Constable Keamogetswe Buys (30) and Constable Boipelo Senoge (20) were traveling from Bloemfontein to Limpopo where they are deployed.
The trio, consisting of two women and a man, travelled in a white Volkswagen Polo sedan with the registration number JCL 401 FS.
They were last seen on Wednesday, at the Engen filling station near the Grasmere Toll Plaza on the N1.
The police officers were all of duty at the time of their disappearance and never made it to their area of deployment.
Police have launched a large-scale search with units from Gauteng and the Free State participating.
