4 dead in accident near Port Shepstone in KZN
The jaws of life had to be used to free one of the people from the wreckage.
Four people died and another was seriously injured in a single-vehicle accident which took place on the N2 near Port Shepstone yesterday (Saturday) morning.
According information supplied by KwaZulu Private Ambulance (KZPA), the driver of the bakkie involved in the accident lost control causing it to roll.

Four of the five people in the vehicle were killed.
KZPA said they died before emergency services arrived and that a fifth person was treated for serious injuries.
Gavin Black, advanced life support paramedic from MI7, said the jaws of life had to be used by members of the Ray Nkonyeni Municipality’s Fire Department to extricate one of the people trapped in the vehicle.
