Another body retrieved from a river in Centurion

"It was reported that the man drowned."

Another body has been retrieved by the Tshwane diving team from the Hennops River in Centurion.

The body was found on Tuesday morning.

A man believed to be in his late 30s was recovered in the river behind Wierdabrug police station just after 10am.

Wierdabrug police spokesperson Sergeant Divine Nkuna confirmed that a body had been discovered.

It was reported that the man drowned. An inquest docket has been opened at the station,” she said.

Last week Thursday the diving team was dispatched to Rietspruit river in Centurion after community members spotted a body floating in the water.
