Another postponement for Alberton dog rape case

An Eden Park, Alberton man who stands accused of allegedly raping a family dog appeared in the Palm Ridge Magistrate’s Court on February 17.

The 57-year-old who faces charges of animal cruelty was arrested on September 27, 2019.

During his appearance, the state prosecutor highlighted that his case had to be postponed pending outstanding witness statements.

A decision is yet to be made by the court if the case should still continue because of the outstanding statements. His case was postponed to March 3.
