Armed robbers flee with more than R80k in cash and goods

The armed robbers robbed two stories concurrently.

Heavily armed robbers late last night stormed Scottburgh Mall  in Durban and held up several Gladiator Security guards while other suspects broke into and robbed two stores in the mall, the South Coast Herald reports.

Sources claim that the gang was made up of eight men.

The robbers broke into a cellphone store, where they stole a number of handsets before going on to break into a second store from which R70 000 worth of laptop computers was taken.The suspects fled in a white Toyota Avanza.
