Bafana beats Cape Verde to progress to Afcon semifinals

South Africans are delighted by the news that Bafana Bafana will be going on to the semifinals of Afcon.

Bafana Bafana has reached the semifinal of the Africa Cup of Nations after they beat Cape Verde in a nail-biting match last night.

After a draw of 0-0 after extra time, the match headed over to penalties, after which South Africa won 2-1.

Bafana will take on Nigeria in the semifinals on Wednesday at 19:00. Ivory Coast will take on the DRC on the same day at 22:00.
