Bloemfontein police seek man’s help in connection with friend’s murder

Police are searching for a man who may assist in a murder case after a shooting at a Ferreira plot near Bloemfontein.

Police at Park Road Police Station in Bloemfontein are appealing to the public for help in locating Sibusiso Christopher Ngwenya, who may assist with the investigation into a murder case.

According to Bloemfontein Courant, police spokesperson Sergeant Thabo Covane said it is alleged that Ngwenya was present at Hopevalley Plot 25 in Ferreira, near Bloemfontein, on May 1, when a 41-year-old man, believed to be his friend, was shot and killed.

Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts is urged to contact Lieutenant Colonel Maphoka Happiness Mabofe at 082 526 2676 or Warrant Officer Jan May at 082 467 6362.

Alternatively, tips can be submitted via the MySAPS app or by calling the SAPS Crime Stop number at 08600 10111.
