Body of motorcyclist found in veld near Greenstone
Upon closer inspection, paramedics found the body of a man a few metres away from his wrecked motorbike.
The body of a man believed to be in his thirties was found lying in a veld off Greenstone Boulevard in Greenstone on Thursday morning.
ER24 spokesperson Russel Meiring said paramedics arrived on the scene at about 8.15am, the Kempton Express reported.
Upon closer inspection, paramedics found the body of a man a few metres away from his wrecked motorbike.
“The man was assessed and found to have sustained fatal injuries and showed no signs of life. Nothing could be done for him and he was declared dead on the scene,” Meiring said.
Details surrounding this incident are not yet known but local authorities were on the scene to investigate further.
