Body of 7-year-old found after 21-day search in Dlamini drainage network

The little Khayalethu Magadla reportedly fell into a manhole while playing with his friends at a park last month.

The body of seven-year-old Khayalethu Magadla from Dlamini 1 has been found.

It is alleged that he fell into a manhole while playing with his friends at a park in Dlamini last month.

The Johannesburg Emergency Services and Johannesburg Water have been searching for his body ever since.

News of the discovery of the body emerged Saturday afternoon after 21 days of intensive search in the drainage network from Dlamini to Klipspruit West.

The family was called to the scene to positively identify the body.

The discovery comes after Jozi FM led a candlelight prayer on Thursday at the scene where little Khaya disappeared.
