Body with eyes gouged out found dumped in KZN
A man who found a partially burnt body with its eyes missing says he went to investigate because a ‘bad smell’ was emanating from the bush.
Imbali residents in KZN are in shock after the gruesome murder of a man who was found with his eyes gouged out and his body partially burnt.
On Friday, the body of Sabelo Ndlovu (27) was discovered by a passerby.
It was lying in the bush on the side of the road, next to the Methodist Church in Phase 3, says uMgungundlovu District Police spokesperson Sergeant Sifiso Gwala.
He said the resident who found the body noticed a ‘bad smell’ emanating from the bushy area next to the church and decided to go and investigate.
