Covid-19 cases continue to rise
Males make up 51.3 percent of those who have died, while females account for 48.6 percent of the deaths.

A total of 968 070 Covid-19 tests have now been conducted with 52 991 positive cases being recorded.
The worst affected area is still the Western Cape with almost 35 000 cases, followed by Eastern CApe with 6 760 and Gauteng with 6 546.
These three provinces also lead the way in recoveries with 20 791, 3 514 and 2 575 recoveries respectively.
At this stage, the worst affect age bracket is those aged between 60 – 69. This age graoup makes up 27.8 percent of the deaths (335). the age group 70 – 79 follows at 18.3 percent of deaths (221).
Males make up 51.3 percent of those who have died, while females account for 48.6 percent of the deaths (0.1 percent remain unknown).
