Covid-19 cases in South Africa now stands at 364 328
The number of Covid-19 recoveries in South Africa now stands at 191 059 translating to a recovery rate of 52,4%.

As of yesterday, 19 July, the total number of confirmed Covid-19 cases in South Africa is at 364 328 with 13 449 new cases identified.
The case data per province is as follows:
Eastern Cape:
- 63 181 confirmed cases
- 17,3% of the country total
- 825 deaths
- 44 317 recoveries
Free State:
- 9 993 confirmed cases
- 2,7% of the country total
- 47 deaths
- 1 103 recoveries
Gauteng:
- 133,617 confirmed cases
- 36,7% of the country total
- 986 deaths
- 58 512 recoveries
KwaZulu-Natal:
- 43 215 confirmed cases
- 11,9% of the country total
- 416 deaths
- 11 055 recoveries
Limpopo:
- 4 928 confirmed cases
- 1,4% of the country total
- 33 deaths
- 2 042 recoveries
Mpumalanga:
- 7 129 confirmed cases
- 2,0% of the country total
- 44 deaths
- 1 958 recoveries
North West:
- 14 006 confirmed cases
- 3,8% of the country total
- 48 deaths
- 2 890 recoveries
Northern Cape:
- 2 266 confirmed cases
- 0,6% of the country total
- 15 deaths
- 772 recoveries
Western Cape:
- 85 926 confirmed cases
- 23,6% of the country total
- 2 619 deaths
- 68 410 recoveries
Unallocated cases:
- 67 confirmed cases
A total number of 2 471 747 Covid-19 tests have been processed of which 49 006 tests have been conducted since the last report.
The Department of Health reports 85 more Covid-19 related deaths.
This brings the total number of Covid-19 related deaths in South Africa to 5 033.
The Department of Health extends its condolences to the loved ones of the departed and thank the health care workers who treated the deceased.
