Strict rules still apply to those contemplating tying the knot.

Covid-19 has turned 2020 on its head. Even the best laid plans have gone completely out the window, and many a happy couple has had to reconsider starting out on their journey to marital bliss.
But with the country moving to alert level 2, many South Africans are enjoying a welcome reprieve after months of uncertainty.
One of the restrictions being eased now is that on weddings.
So if you are planning your wedding under level 2, here is what you need to know:
Weddings will now be allowed, provided that certain conditions are met. The number of people who may attend is capped at 50, and all social distancing regulations must be adhered to.
Masks covering noses and mouths must be worn at all times. Alcohol sales and consumption will be permitted, provided that the venue holds the applicable liquor licence. The curfew remains in effect.
Further clarification of the rules is expected to be delivered by cabinet ministers in the coming days.
