Cyclone Enawo expected to drive rainfall away from Botswana
Cyclone Enawo should hit Madagascar on Tuesday.
Dry spells are expected over parts of Botswana as a result of tropical Cyclone Enawo, reports The Citizen.
This is according to Botswana’s meteorological services department on Tuesday, who said the cyclone would drive away moisture, an ingredient for rainfall formation, SAnews.gov.za-NNN-PANA reports.
Cyclone Enawo was expected to hit Madagascar on Tuesday in the form of a tropical depression, with a lot of rainfall and possible flooding.
The Botswana department reportedly did, however, expect thundershowers in the extreme northern parts of the country on Wednesday.
