Dead man found in Tshwane street with hands and feet tied
The circumstances surrounding the death of an unknown man are being investigated by police.
Wonderboompoort police in Tshwane are investigating a case of murder after the body of an unknown man was found on the street with his hands and feet tied.
According to police spokesperson Warrant Officer Johan van Dyk, the discovery was made today on Franzina Street, near the corner of Solomon Avenue.
He says the man is believed to have been in his 30s.
Van Dyk says the Wonderboompoort patrol vehicle was alerted by a passerby about the body.
The deceased was found with his hands tied behind his back with yellow plastic, and his feet tied with jeans.
Van Dyk says crime scene experts found blood coming from his left ear and a small injury to his lower back.
“There is no known suspect at this stage, as police are still searching for clues,” says Van Dyk.
