Double cab plunges through barrier at Mossel Bay’s Point

The double cab toppled over onto the rocks from the parking area after driving though a barrier.

“We were dining at one of the Point restaurants when we saw the bakkie burst through the barrier.” This is what an eyewitness told the Mossel Bay Advertiser at the scene this evening, 6 May where a Ford Ranger double cab toppled over onto the rocks from the parking area after driving though a barrier.

According to emergency services at the scene, the driver and passenger are unharmed.

The cause of the accident is uncertain, but it is suspected that the driver confused the accelerator with the brake during an attempt to park the vehicle. The vehicle was recovered and towed away.

The driver and passenger received medical attention at the scene.
