Durban business engulfed in flames

A building in The Bluff, Durban, was engulfed in flames this morning. The cause of the fire is unknown at this stage.

A business premises went up in flames on The Bluff in Durban this morning.

Dhevan Govindasamy, PT Alarms tactical unit spokesperson, said he was alerted about the fire at the Spoil Yourself Beauty and Hair Salon at 390 Tara Road, around 09:25.

“Upon arrival, [we found that] the fire department and police were on scene. There are no reported injuries and currently, we are not sure what caused the fire,” said Govindasamy.

The police will be opening a case for further investigation.
