Durban North art dealer’s murder: 6 set to appear in court
A 57-year-old man's burnt body was discovered on the side of the road two days after he went missing.

Those accused of the murder of Durban North art dealer Alan Gordon (57) are expected to make their second appearance in court this Friday.
Gordon went missing from his Umgeni Park home on March 8, and his body was found burnt and dumped in Ndwedwe on March 10.
Greenwood Park SAPS started investigating the murder docket after the case was transferred from Ndwedwe Police Station.
KZN spokesperson Lieutenant Colonel Nqobile Gwala says six people between the ages of 18 and 27 were arrested, and appeared before the Durban Magistrate’s Court on March 10.
“The victim was allegedly assaulted with a bush knife and then burnt. His body was discovered on the side of the road in the Dikwayo area in Ndwedwe,” she adds.
It is further alleged that Alan was attacked in his flat and his body dumped in Ndwedwe.
When Northglen News spoke to the victim’s brother, Brian, after his disappearance, he said Alan had been living with a few friends who he was ‘helping out’.
The motive for the murder is still unknown.
