Ermelo: Three men murdered in less than 48 hours
Two men were stabbed while the third was reportedly assaulted with a baseball bat.

Ermelo police are investigating three separate murder cases that occurred in the town in less than 48 hours.
The murders were committed between September 3 and 4.
Teen stabbed to death
On September 3, the body of an 18-year-old boy, with a stab wound on his side, was found at the informal settle Nyibe at around 05:00.
According to police spokesperson Captain Carla Prinsloo, the police followed up on information provided to them and a 25-year-old man was later arrested in connection with the murder.
Highvelder sent media enquiries about his court date and awaits a response.
Stabbed at a tavern
Later the same day, at about 23:15, the police were dispatched to Ermelo Provincial Hospital, where a 24-year-old man from Sun City had succumbed to his injuries.
“It is alleged that the man was stabbed at a tavern,” Prinsloo said.
The police are investigating the matter and no arrests have been made.
Man dies after alleged domestic violence incident
The third murder was committed at the same informal settlement as the first murder. On September 4, the body of a 34-year-old man was found in the street.
According to Prinsloo, it is believed the man assaulted someone in his house, before he was murdered.
“People in the house then reportedly assaulted the man with a baseball bat, dragged his body out of the house and left it in the street.”
