Family continues search for missing Kenmare man
Almost a year after a Gauteng man vanished, his family is still appealing for information about his whereabouts.
Nearly a year has passed since Kenmare resident Ferdinand Fourie disappeared without a trace, but for his family, the search has never stopped, reports Krugersdorp News.
The 50-year-old was last seen on September 19 last year while driving home from work in Dobsonville. He never arrived home.
According to his sister-in-law, Annelise Steyn, the family believes Ferdinand was kidnapped.
She added that he is particularly vulnerable as he is diabetic and requires medication.
A kidnapping case was opened with the police, but at the time of publication, Steyn said the family had received no updates on the investigation.
At the time of his disappearance, Ferdinand was wearing blue jeans, a black T-shirt and a green jersey. He is described as being of medium build, with blond hair and blue eyes.
Anyone with information about Ferdinand’s whereabouts is urged to contact the Roodepoort Police Station or Steyn on 083 461 0168.
