Farm attack victim dies weeks after shooting in Limpopo

An elderly man died in hospital after being shot during a farm attack in the Leeupoort area, where his family was also assaulted.

An elderly man who was seriously injured during an attack on a farm in the Leeupoort area passed away just more than a month after the incident, reports Carletonville Herald.

According to trustworthy sources the late Danie Moolman passed away in Leratong Hospital, where he has been treated since the incident on March 24.

The elderly owner and his son were shot while the owner’s wife and daughter were also assaulted.

The thugs fled with their vehicle, which was found back the same evening together with goods stolen from the farm.

This incident took place only four days after another attack on a farm in the same area, which is next to the Mpahla Village informal settlement.
