Greytown couple in hospital after brutal home invasion
An elderly couple from the KZN town situated on the banks of a tributary of the uMvoti River are in the ICU.
An elderly couple from Greytown, KZN, is recovering in the Intensive Care Unit after being severely assaulted during a home invasion and robbery on Friday.
The Cathcart Street residents, Deenanth Maharaj (70) and Kowsilia Maharaj (64), were badly beaten and stabbed in their home, allegedly by three men.
Police confirmed that two men, aged 35 and 38, were arrested at the Gugulethu and Nhlalakahle townships on Saturday, while one suspect is still at large.
