Info sought after bodies found dumped outside Evaton

Police are investigating a double murder in Orange Farm after two men’s bodies were found in a veld.

Police in Orange Farm, Gauteng, are investigating a double murder after the discovery of two men’s bodies in an open veld yesterday.

Sedibeng Ster reports the victims, believed to be between 20 and 24 years old, were found in Matiki near the Mokokotlong informal settlement with apparent assault wounds, while one also had a gunshot wound.

Local police spokesperson Sergeant Shaan Motsapi confirmed the first unidentified male (20) was wearing brown trousers, a black T-shirt, and a red, black, and white track top.

The second victim, estimated to be 24 years old, was dressed in navy blue Adidas track pants, a black and white striped T-shirt, and a brown jacket.

The motive for the murders remains unknown, and no suspects have been arrested.

Orange Farm SAPS urges anyone with information to assist the investigation by contacting the local police station on 011 213 8023/8025, or anonymously via 08600 10111 or the MySAPS app.
