KZN: 6 dead, 9 critical following bus crash between Vryheid and Nongoma

6 people lost their lives and 9 others are currently fighting for theirs at Benedictine Hospital, after a bus travelling between Vryheid and Nongoma crashed off a narrow bridge last night, Vryheid Herald reports.

The bus is believed to have left the roadway before coming to rest on its side. 74 people were treated on scene for minor to serious injuries by paramedics. The bus is believed to have been transporting people home from a wedding.

The exact cause of the crash is currently unknown and the police are investigating the incident.
