The attempted murder of a construction company manager in Durban has fuelled speculation of construction mafia involvement.

A Stefanutti Stocks manager was ambushed and shot at while entering the company’s Pinetown office on Friday.

Although the vehicle was shot at multiple times, the manager managed to survive the attack.
