KZN man shoots his family before killing himself
Two women and two children were injured in the incident.

A Shakaville man shot and wounded his family today and later shot himself in the head. He died in hospital.
KwaDukuza police spokesperson Priya Nunkumar confirmed the incident, saying after shooting his girlfriend, sister-in-law and two children, the man fled the scene.
His girlfriend (44) has multiple gunshot wounds and was shot on her right leg, abdomen, chest and both shoulders. The sister-in-law (28) has a gunshot wound to her abdomen and both children have gunshot wounds to their chests.
“The suspect later attempted to commit suicide. He was rushed to a local hospital where is was declared deceased,” said Nunkumar.
According to Dylan Meyrick of IPSS Medical Rescue, the shooting allegedly occurred after a domestic dispute.
In another incident early today, a man in his 30s was shot and killed in the KwaDukuza central business district. According to the police, he was shot multiple times on Collenbrander Street.
Correction: It was previously reported that the man’s wife and mother-in law-were shot, but as more information came through, it was confirmed that it was his girlfriend and sister-in-law.
