KZN police fight in court after their vehicles seized

The matter emanated from a 2018 incident where the suspect claimed he was wrongfully arrested and detained.

KZN police said their legal services headed to court today (Friday) to fight the sale of police vehicles in auction after they were seized by the Sheriff of the High Court on Thursday.

Police spokesperson Colonel Robert Netshiunda assured residents of Mountain Rise and the surrounding precincts that policing services continue unhindered after four vehicles were seized at the Mountain Rise Police station.

The seizure related to a 2018 case of assault with intent to cause grievous bodily harm where the suspect claimed that he was wrongfully arrested and detained
