A woman from Montclair in the south of Durban was yesterday afternoon shot and killed while seated in her vehicle outside her home on Boniface Avenue.

ALS Paramedics Medical Services spokesperson Rowan Scandroglio says paramedics who arrived on the scene found the woman, believed to be in her late 60s, lying in the back of her vehicle.

“The patient was assessed and had sustained multiple gunshot wounds to her chest and head.

“Unfortunately, there was nothing more paramedics could do for her, and she was declared deceased on the scene. However, police were on the scene and will be investigating further,” he explains.

Police did not respond at the time of publishing.
