Load-shedding suspended for a little longer
It has been a day packed with Eskom load-shedding alerts, with the latest granting a supper reprieve.
Due to lower-than-anticipated demand and a further slight improvement in generation capacity, the suspension of load-shedding will continue until 18:00 today.
Thereafter, load-shedding will be as follows:
- Stage 1: From 18:00 to 22:00 tonight
- Load-shedding suspended from 22:00 tonight until 05:00 tomorrow
- Stage 2: 05:00 tomorrow until further notice.
Eskom will communicate should any significant changes occur.
