Load-shedding to alternate between stages 1 and 3

Eskom has announced the load-shedding schedule for the coming days.

After load-shedding had been suspended for a second time this weekend, Eskom has announced that load-shedding will be implemented again from 16:00.

Menzi Mngomezulu, the power utility’s crisis communication manager, said the following pattern will continue until further notice:

16:00 today until 05:00 tomorrow: Stage 3

05:00 tomorrow until 16:00: Stage 1.

Mngomezulu said Eskom would update the public should any significant changes occur.

This pattern of load-shedding was largely followed last week.
