Long queues as malls open their doors
Residents are urged to remain orderly throughout the day.

KWAZULU-NATAL – Large queues have been forming since early this morning in anticipation for the opening of shopping malls. Residents are urged to remain orderly throughout the day.
“If it is controlled every body will have the opportunity to purchase what they need. If you don’t get what you need today,” said ward 97 councillor, Andrè Beetge.
Malls will be open on Sunday, July 18, from 9:00 to 15:00.
“If you still have food in your cupboards, let’s give those who have nothing the opportunity to buy first.”
According to Beetge, parking at Abour Crossing Mall will only be allowed at the front section facing Arbour Road and Makro. No parking will be allowed at the rear of the building.
“The is a police presence and the public order police will be deployed as well as members of the South africa national defence force both in civil attire and uniform. Be tolerant and patient.”
